Volunteering

If so, we want to hear from you!

We are seeking to expand our team of volunteer advice workers. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and you do not need any particular qualifications or experience to train as an adviser.

You do need to:-
  •    Be a good listener
  •    Be able to work as part of a team
  •    Be open minded and non judgemental
  •    Enjoy helping people
  •    Be available for at least 6 hours per week
In return, we offer you full training and support every step of the way. You will learn new skills and increase your self confidence and the training you receive leads to a nationally recognised qualification respected in many professions.

Above all, it's a chance to make a real difference as you will be playing an active part in improving local people's lives and influencing the development of national and local policies and services. You will meet a wide range of people and make new friends.
